Judith M. Miron

Judith M. Miron, age 58 of Baraga passed away on Friday, Nov. 14, 2003 as a result of an automobile accident in Baraga. She was born September 9, 1945, in L’Anse, daughter to Clarence and Harriet (Madosh) Geroux. Judy grew up and attended school in Baraga. She married Rodger Miron on September 7, 1963, in Assinins. Judy was a member of St. Ann’s Catholic Church. She enjoyed fishing, crafts, sewing, gardening, flowers, camping, and outdoor activities. Judy loved spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband Rodger of Baraga; parents Clarence and Harriet Geroux of Baraga; son Victor (Laura) Miron of Baraga; daughters, Mary (Orlando) Moreno of Fountain Hills, AZ, Kerri (Ed) Maki of Pelkie, Kimberly (Joe) Fish of Baraga, Shelly (Chris) Roy of L’Anse; brothers, Richard, Bruce, George (Mary), and Gregory Geroux all of Baraga; grandchildren, Crystal Brunk, Robert and Orlando “Thumper” Moreno, Michael, Kristine, and Fud Bud Maki, Breanne and Mariah Fish, Calix John and Adebria Miron; great grandchildren, Latoya, Mannie, Melissa, and Katie Brunk; numerous nieces and nephews.
Judy is preceded in death by a son Michael Richard Miron in 1965 and a brother Butch Geroux. The Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 18 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Baraga. Visitations will be one hour prior to the service at the church and on Monday from 4-8:00 p.m. at Jacobson Funeral Home with Parish Prayers being recited at 7:30 p.m.. Fr. Greg Heikkala will officiate. Burial will be in the Baraga Cemetery. Jacobson Funeral Home in L’Anse is assisting the family.
